Enjoy stories and activities that examine culture from the long-ago past to the present that will surely remind you of your own family traditions and culture. Also, be sure to visit the exhibit Into an 1840s Boarding House showcasing the community of “mill girls” who in the 1800s came to work in the factories and made their home in Lowell. Both exhibits offer a powerful look at the stories of the lives of people in the Merrimack Valley.
